About Us

Several years ago I started to develop an interest for watches. It quickly grew into a passion, and as an enthusiast I discovered many micro-brands that offered really nice watches at competitive prices. This is when my entrepreneur drive kicked in and I asked myself: could I do that? The answer was, obviously, "challenge accepted!"

So, I set out to learn as much as I could about the technical aspect of designing and making a watch. I stumbled upon an amazing online community of watch enthusiasts at WatchUSeek.com where I shared my goal and ideas, learned so much, and received invaluable feedback. For this, I am very grateful. 

The next step was to put my background in design and engineering to work with all that knowledge. Fast-forward a few months later, and the first production batch of the Makara Octopus was delivered to their happy owners.
